Lead Inspector - Initial

This lecture and hands-on class focuses on a curriculum which meets
EPA and State specific requirements regarding: lead background data,
health effects, regulatory compliance, XRF analyzers, legal liabilities,
sample collection/analysis and other data.

Course Length: 3-days

Lead Inspector – Refresher

This class utilizes lectures and hands-on training to present an overview
of the initial Lead Inspector discipline. In addition any new regulations
and work practices are presented as part of this refresher course.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Risk Assessor - Initial

(Prerequisite: Lead Inspector 3 day course)


This class extends the knowledge of the Lead Inspector with additional
information regarding: the Lead Risk Assessor’s role and tools, visual
examination, sampling, collection and sampling interpretation, development
of hazard control options, and report preparation. Hands-on exercises
are part of this course.

Course Length: 2-days

Lead Risk Assessor – Refresher

Designed to meet EPA and State specific requirements, this course focuses
on a review of the initial Lead Risk Assessor course with presentation
of any new regulations, work practices and other data through lectures
and hands-on exercises.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Project Designer - Initial

(Prerequisite: Lead Supervisor 4 day course)


By means of lectures this course covers topics which include: LBP abatement
and hazard reductions, interior dust cleanups, clearance standards/ sampling;
and the development and implementation of occupant protection plans.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Project Designer – Refresher

This class focuses on lectures to present an overview of the initial Lead
Project Designer discipline; and the latest regulations and work practices
available regarding this discipline will be presented in lecture format.

Course Length: 4-hours

Lead Abatement Worker - Initial

This course is designed to meet the criteria to meet the EPA requirements
for lead-based paint activities in target housing and child occupied facilities.
The course work concentrates on lead background history, adverse
health effects and personal protection, Federal, State and local regulations,
hazard recognition and control; and hazard reduction methods
including restricted methods. Hands-on exercises are part of the course
work with lectures.

Course Length: 2-days

Lead Abatement Worker – Refresher

This lecture presentation focuses on a review of the initial discipline
training; and any new regulations and work practices.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Contractor/Supervisor - Initial

This course is required for those persons dealing with the supervision or
management of lead abatement workers or other personnel with potential
for lead exposure. Topics of focus include methods of controlling and
abating lead in target housing and child occupied facilities, inspection
reports, compliance issues, applicable regulations, contract specifications,
and insurance considerations. Hands-on exercises are part of the
course work with lectures.

Course Length: 4-days

Lead Contractor/Supervisor – Refresher

This course is designed to provide the latest information on regulations
and work practices available related to lead reduction activities. Hands-
on exercises are part of the course work with lectures.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Remodeling, Repair & Painting (EPA RRP)

This course is designed for workers disturbing, removing or modifying painted surfaces. Hands-on exercises are part of the course work with lectures.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Sampling Technician - Initial

This lecture and hands-on class focuses on a curriculum which meets EPA and State specific requirements regarding: roles & responsibilities, background information, health effects, Federal, State and local regulations, dust sampling methodologies, clearance techniques, and clearance reporting.

Course Length: 1-day

Lead Sampling Technician - Refresher

This class focuses on lectures to present an overview of the initial Lead Sampling Technician discipline; and the lastest regulations and work practices available regarding this discipline wil be presented in lecture format.
